Summer Camp
If you had a month to go to a summer camp this year, what kind of camp would it be? What would you do there?
Our Experience
“If I were flexible and had at least seven years of yoga under my belt, I would go work on a Dude Ranch, riding horses, herding cattle, and eating at a big farm table with people I like,” said Libby immediately.
(I wonder if we can find City Slicker on Prime Video?)
“And you would love to be an assistant ranger at a national park, riding around on a golf cart, visiting the campers, and conducting services,” she said, answering the prompt for me.
I’m like the guy who can do whatever he wants. He just needs to ask his wife what he wants.
I think that what Libby was describing sounds more like a chaplain than a ranger. I would prefer being a ranger and go undercover for the pastor part.
We had intended a much more serious prompt about hopes and concerns for the new year, but neither one of us was feeling it.
This one was more fun. I guess Libby will start yoga at the Y and I will check out volunteer positions for old people at national parks.
Where would you go for a summer camp?
